Alternator case study


A Suzuki Alto had a faulty alternator but there is no replacement alternator available. The customer has tried to find a second hand alternator online and from automotive dismantlers without success and was advised to scrap the car.

We have successfully diagnosed that it has a faulty rectifier and located a new rectifier, fitted it and tested the alternator on the test bench. It worked and the customer was very happy.
